Watch: President Trump drops in on MAGA-themed wedding, prompting guests to chant 'USA'

'You're a class act'

President Donald Trump granted a bride and groom's wish over the weekend, dropping in on their "Make America Great Again"-themed wedding festivities to the delight of guests.

What are the details?

Newlyweds PJ Mongelli and Nicole Marie Mongelli got engaged at the Trump National Golf Club Bedminster in New Jersey in 2017, and held their wedding Saturday at the same location. The Trump-loving couple sent multiple invitations to the president ahead of their nuptials in hopes that the leader of the free world might attend.

President Trump spent the weekend at the resort, and dropped in on two of the Mongellis' events. At the first, the bride and groom were surprised by the president, thanking him emphatically as a woman can be heard in the background telling President Trump, "You're a class act that you came here."

The Mongellis then asked the president if he would stop by their reception. According to Fox News, President Trump "vowed to show up at the second [event], and kept his word."

When the president arrived at the reception, the crowd broke into chants of "USA, USA!" while the newlyweds embraced the president.

PennLive reported that the couple's reception was decorated with Trump 2020 signs and American flags, and guests were given Trump gold bars of chocolate as wedding favors.

Anything else?

President Trump has a history of making unannounced appearances at weddings held at Bedminster.

Last year, the president surprised Gerald Papa and Jenna Bucholtz when he stopped by their July wedding at the resort. According to NJ.com, the Papa-Bucholtz reception was second Bedminster wedding the president crashed since taking office.
