Today on the "Buck Sexton Show," Buck examines the differences between Republicans' and Democrats' views on refugees and the potential threats they pose to domestic security. He applauds conservatives for favoring the safety of American citizens over the plight of foreign immigrants.
"We have a right as a country, as a sovereign nation to say, 'No. That's a risk we just do not want to take,'" Buck opines, "And this is what the left doesn't understand. This is where it all falls apart for them. This is where the divide is really exposed... they think it is racist, and wrong and mean for the American people to make a decision that privileges their security and their survival over humanitarian concerns. The other stuff, about due process, ability for people to come here, that's all noise. It's that they do not believe that the calculation should be in favor of U.S. citizens' security."
Buck predicts that the inevitable challenge to President Donald Trump's revised travel ban in the courts will be based on accusations of racism and ineffectiveness.
Buck elaborates: "So now you've got Democrats that are more or less saying, 'Our judgment...is more important on this matter than the commander-in-chief's. And oh, by the way, also we get to determine what is effective national security in the courts, not the executive branch.' Which really should force a constitutional crisis."
