Jeffy explains why TV’s ‘Transparent’ got so many awards

Amazon’s “Transparent,” which received three Emmy award nominations this year, is about a father who is transitioning to living as a woman.

This week on “The Jeff Fisher Show,” Jeffy Fisher explained the premise of the show and figured out why Hollywood loves it.

“You want to know why they’re winning awards? I’ll tell you,” Jeffy said.

In the pilot, Jeffrey Tambor’s character is trying to figure out how to tell his kids that he wants to live as a woman. Meantime, his oldest daughter wants to have an affair with an old friend who is a woman, and similar sexual mayhem is taking place with his other children. Hollywood’s love for “Transparent” seems to come down to one thing: sex outside of social norms.
