Listen: The social justice warrior retelling of this holiday classic is pretty dark
December 06, 2017
HuffPo has revealed the dark side of the classic “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer,” Christmas-splaining that Rudolph was clearly marginalized by his community and abused by his dad for being different while Hermey the elf struggled in the “PR nightmare” of Santa’s workshop.
“This holiday movie isn’t so jolly,” HuffPo said, adding in the video caption that “some of these lines made our jaws drop.”
On today’s show, Doc walked us all through the Rudolph story as told in the 1964 stop-motion classic – through an SJW lens.
To see more from Doc, visit his channel on TheBlaze and listen live to “The Morning Blaze with Doc Thompson” weekdays 6 a.m. – 9 a.m. ET, only on TheBlaze Radio Network.
