The truth about women's sports in America

Athletes like Riley Gaines have been forced to take it upon themselves to fearlessly stand up against transgender women competing with them in women’s sports — but it doesn’t mean they have a lack of support.

Jason Whitlock of "Fearless with Jason Whitlock" says that rather than suffering from a lack of support, “they suffer from a lack of interest.”

He recalls that in 1972, Title IX was implemented. This was legislation that prohibits sex-based discrimination within education and effectively mandates financial investment in women’s athletics at every American school that receives federal funding.

“America,” Whitlock says, “bends over backwards in its support of women’s participation in sports.”

When Detroit Lions GM Brad Holmes wore a pullover that said “support women and girls in sports,” Riley Gaines publicly thanked him.

However, the shirt was given to him by the diversity officer of the Detroit Lions, who lists her she/her pronouns in her Twitter bio.

Whitlock says they’ve “bought the lie that there’s a lack of support for women’s sports” rather than “a lack of interest.”

He continues, “The disparity and interest between men’s and women’s sports is directly tied to the inherent physical and mental differences between men and women.”

“Women don’t play sports at the same level as men, and they don’t take interest in sports at the same level as men.”

Essentially, Whitlock believes that women are not wired for sports the same way men are — and that the Detroit Lions have sold out their own men to hire a woke, female diversity officer.

“Let’s stop pandering,” Whitlock says.

“Feminists have tricked men into doing the dirty work of castrating themselves. Hats off to Brad Holmes and everybody within the Detroit Lions organization. You cut your balls off — awesome, guys.”
