LIST: Trump's wall would cost less than these federal programs

On Friday's episode of "Pat Gray Unleashed," Pat Gray, Keith Malinak, and Jeffy Fisher highlighted a list of federal programs that Democrats will fund while refusing to support President Donald Trump's border wall.

A list published Wednesday by Grabien News contributor Tom Elliott highlighted federal programs that Democrats have supported and funded over the years. Meanwhile, President Trump has asked Congress for $5.7 billion to fund his border wall project — only about 1/10 of 1 percent of the 2018 annual budget of $4.173 trillion — but Dems have rejected the president's request.

Below is a small sampling of the items Democrats have decided are more important to spend your tax dollars on than border security.

The List (partial)

Rural Utility Service. A program once used to bring electricity to rural area communities is now used — in theory — to bring broadband internet to cities with a population of less than 20,000. Here's the problem, there is no data to prove that a single recipient of services from this program exists.

Sugar Subsidies. Congress would save a total of $6 billion per year by eliminating sugar subsidies.

Community Development Grants. Over five years, the elimination of this program would save $15 billion.

The United Nations. The U.S. donated $10 billion to the U.N. in 2016, according to the Government Waste Book.

Waste, Fraud, and Abuse. Congress spends $137 billion annually on "payment errors" — including fraud within programs like Medicare, Social Security, and Medicaid.

Boost Intimacy And Trust Among Transgender Women And Their Partners. Americans pay $613,634 per year to support this program.

Grants To Help Hipsters Stop Smoking And Blog About it. $5 million annual price tag.
