Storm Area 51? More than a million jokesters sign up — but the Air Force isn't laughing
July 26, 2019
'This is the Chernobyl of weekend plans'
In this "Watch Chad Prather" video, Chad couldn't stop laughing about the "Storm Area 51, They Can't Stop All of Us" Facebook event, which started out as a joke but has now gained enough support to prompt the U.S. Air Force to warn people not to show up at the top secret base in Nevada.
More than a million people have signed up for the event, saying they plan to partake in storming the base, which is rumored to be home to extraterrestrials, on Sept. 20.
"I can't get off this topic. It's hilarious to me," Chad said. "A bunch of video-game-playing millennials have come up with this plan to storm Area 51, the idea being that 'they can't stop all of us.' Folks, this is the Moron Hunger Games. This is the Chernobyl of weekend plans ... they're mapping this thing out like they're invading Normandy, but looking for Pokémon on the beaches instead of Germans.
"Our military is the most powerful force in the history of the world and they are apt to light your candy a**es up if you go running at them like that," he added. "You know what a tank and a good chain gun will do to a bunch of idiots trying to pull a Leeroy Jenkins at the same time?"
