CNN peddles bizarre conspiracy theory. Glenn Beck reacts — and he's not happy

CNN's Chris Cillizza suggested that President Donald Trump was sending cryptic messages to a person or group of people known as QAnon at last week's campaign rally.

According to Cillizza, QAnon (or sometimes just Q) is the anonymous key player in a mega-conspiracy theory that "targets Trump opponents, like Hillary Clinton and former President Barack Obama," and as Q is the 17th letter in the alphabet, the president was apparently sending a secret message when he referenced “17 Angry Democrats."

Chris Cuomo, Cillizza's CNN colleague, doubled down on President Trump's supposed involvement in "cultivating" conspiracy theories in a segment on his show:

Cuomo also sent out an all-caps tweet after the show that stated, "TRUMP IS IGNORING WHAT IS TRUE AND CULTIVATING A BASE THAT INCLUDES THOSE WHO EAT UP CONSPIRACIES AND DARK MYSTERIES OF POWER."

CNN, the same media outlet that has labeled Glenn Beck as a conspiracy theorist countless times over the years, is now peddling this bizarre conspiracy theory — about conspiracy theories. Why? Because there is no limit to what they are willing to say in order to discredit President Trump.

"CNN, you are preparing this nation for a civil war. You are tilling this ground every day. There is more speculation on CNN, day in and day out, than in my entire career. Please do NOT talk to me about speculation," Glenn asserted on Thursday's show. "If there is bloodshed, I'm going to use your words: You will be responsible for a lot of it."
