WATCH: Kamala Harris' reaction to Biden's 'Iranians' gaffe during SOTU is PRICELESS
March 02, 2022
'High comedy'
During President Joe Biden's State of the Union address Tuesday, the president confused "Ukrainians" with "Iranians," therefore assuring the world that Russian President Vladimir Putin will "never gain the hearts and souls of the Iranian people."
Vice President Kamala Harris couldn't keep the obvious look of utter mortification from her face before muttering something — a correction? an expletive? a prayer? — under her breath.
Take a look:
At this point, the pundits and junior comedians on social media had a field day:
WATCH: Kamala corrects Biden under her breath when Biden refers to “Ukrainians” as “Iranians.”pic.twitter.com/wkXcUpRu53— Townhall.com (@Townhall.com) 1646194090
The high comedy was VP Harris trying to correct him and mouthed Ukrainians to him— Nick Marino (@Nick Marino) 1646187791
Okay I stand corrected, Biden didn’t say Iranians but Uranians. Aliens from Uranus (the planet and not any orifice) hate Putin with all their hearts.— Atul Mishra (@Atul Mishra) 1646220765
She’s not correcting him, she’s telling herself “I’m one heartbeat away from being up on that podium”.
And she can’t wait…— DaBlemko (@DaBlemko) 1646235189
I’m a semi-pro lip reader. What she actually said was “da fuck? That Munich trip and now this, I’m toast. What the fuck am I gonna do after 2024”— Michael Rapaportapotty (@Michael Rapaportapotty) 1646211534
