Highgate, a top private coed school in London, hopes to change its dress code in order to accommodate gender identity issues. The school has drawn up plans to address dress codes that already allow girls to wear either skirts or trousers.
The headmaster of the school, Adam Pettitt, hopes to give boys the same mix-and-match policy regarding their wardrobe. Pettitt acknowledged many former students have come out in support of the measure, while many have come out against it as well.
