Vince McMahon's XFL slated to return in 2020 -- no gimmicks, criminals, or protests

Yesterday, WWE founder and chairman Vince McMahon announced the return of the XFL in 2020.

He said it's something he's been thinking about since 2001 in which the league saw only one successful season.

McMahon said the league will be gimmick-free, family friendly, non-political, and non-criminal. "We're going to give the game of football back to fans," he said in the announcement. "We will present a shorter, faster paste. Family friendly and an easier to understand the game."

McMahon said, "People don't want social and political issues coming into play when they are trying to be entertained."

"We want someone who wants to take a knee to do their version of that on their personal time." There were mixed reactions following the announcement, mainly from SJWs boohooing on the anti-protest stipulation and diehard sports fans speculating on how successful the league will be.

On Friday's episode of "Pat Gray Unleashed," Pat was fairly skeptical of an XFL comeback and argued that rules of the game in the NFL are already simple enough while Jeffy loved the idea.
