Andrew Heaton: Making fun of royalty with Chad Prather

A deeper look into the life of Prince Philip

In episode 44 of "Something's Off With Andrew Heaton," host Andrew Heaton and comedian Chad Prather discuss the interesting life of 97-year-old Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh and husband of Queen Elizabeth II.

Alternately known as "Volcano God," Prince Philip was born to Greek and Danish royal families. As an infant, he and his mother and four sisters were exiled from Greece as a result of a military coup that kept his father, Prince Andrew of Greece and Denmark, from the throne.

Prince Philip and his family established residence in France, Germany, and the United Kingdom. He married Princess Elizabeth in 1947.

Heaton and Prather painted a colorfully hilarious and factual picture of the life of Prince Philip, a picture that is best described using quotes from the podcast.

"I love making fun of royalty," Prather said.

"When he was 7 years old, his dad goes to Monte Carlo, which is exactly what I would do if I were a deposed prince," Heaton said.

"Can you pick a better place?" Prather replied. "It's like James Bond's Vegas."
