Author reveals little-known events leading up to horrific Jonestown massacre

Glenn Beck sat down in studio with author and columnist Daniel J. Flynn to discuss his book, "Cult City: Jim Jones, Harvey Milk, and 10 Days That Shook San Francisco."

The book chronicles the lives of cult leader Jim Jones, who convinced more than 900 of his followers to commit suicide in November 1978, and Harvey Milk, a politician who became a martyr for gay-rights after his assassination in San Francisco.

Flynn reveals the shocking and little-known events that lead up to the mass suicide of the Peoples Temple followers, and the mysterious connection between the cult's leader and San Francisco's first openly gay elected official.
