Christie 2012 just got a little tastier: not sold on man-made global warming

New Jersey Governor Chris Christie has already earned legend status for his classic verbal beat downs of teacher unions across the state, causing conservatives to salivate at the prospects of a run in 2012. The Blaze is reporting on yet another Christie smack down today, this one targeted at a local school official. I don't know who Lee Seitz is, but I can tell you right now that I don't want to be him, know him, or be anywhere near him.

Gov Christie:

“Let me tell you something, I’m going to be speaking out loudly and clearly every day I can about Lee Seitz,” Christie said. “If Lee Seitz wants to try to put his greed and his arrogance ahead of the taxpayers of New Jersey, you elected me to stand up to people like Lee Seitz and others across the state and I will.”

Ouch!

Ok, so he gets an A++++ for taking on unions - but where is he on other issues? Is he going to pull a Lindsey Graham and push Cap & Trade? Unlikely. He was asked about global warming at a town hall this week. AP reports that Christie said he's skeptical that global warming is man made and he needs "more science" to convince him otherwise.

Still a lot of uncharted territory, so I'm afraid to get overly excited. But if he threw his hat into the ring for 2012 now, they'd have to warm up Obama's bus. And for the record, I'm totally ok if the bus idles from now till then.
