FNC's Cavuto Slams Chris Matthews' Mockery of Chris Christie's Weight
December 13, 2010
"Your World" host Neil Cavuto took a moment out of his Monday afternoon broadcast to lambaste Chris Matthews' recent mockery of New Jersey Governor Chris Christie's weight. The Blaze was first to post the key audio clip of Matthews' comments over the weekend.
Cavuto -- who described himself as "slightly overweight" -- says he was "very pissed" over the "nonsense" attacks, calling it "racism... with a scale." Cavuto suggested the MSNBC host, calling him simply Media Chris, could "look in the mirror" before making any more condescending remarks.
Go, Neil!
Unfortunately Matthews isn't the only talking head who thinks making fun of Christie's weight is good punditry. You may have also seen a number of recent posts on The Blaze featuring Columbia professor and frequent cable news guest Marc Lamont Hill who has made a point of describing the governor's weight as a political liability.
