"Would I have a chance of getting the nomination?"
Here we go. As winter winds down, trees and flowers aren't the only thing getting ready to come back to life. Also resurrecting are campaign stories. We've seen some 2012 presidential talk dot the headlines, but now get ready for a slew of them as Republicans begin the fight for the nomination. Today's headline? It looks like former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani is seriously considering a 2012 run.
Appearing on CNBC's "The Kudlow Report" with Larry Kudlow, Giuliani did not dodge a question about his 2012 prospects (via Mediaite):
LARRY KUDLOW: ” Will you take a look at 2012, there are lots of rumors in New York City?”RUDY GIULIANI: “I will take a look at 2012. It’s really a question of, can I play a useful role? Would I have a chance of getting the nomination? Those are things that I’ll have to evaluate as the year goes along.
LARRY KUDLOW: “But the door is open, that’s what I’m hearing from you tonight?”
RUDY GIULIANI: “Yes, yes, Absolutely Larry.”
