"...I was disappointed in the way I acted."
Hip-hop and R&B star Chris Brown appeared on BET television last night to apologize for a violent rampage at ABC's "Good Morning America" that ended in him leaving shirtless.
Brown's tirade stemmed from being asked questions about a pleading guilty to beating his former girlfriend, fellow R&B star Rihanna. Brown, who was there to discuss his new album, felt duped by the news outlet. When he got back to his dressing room, he decided to "let off steam," which resulted in a broken window.
"I want to apologize to anybody who was startled in the office, anybody who was offended, or really disappointed in my actions, 'cause I was disappointed in the way I acted," he said:
