 Yesterday, in Arlington, Virginia, vandals set fire to 27 American flags. According to WUSA9.com, authorities do not yet have any suspects or a motive. The community is perplexed and saddened by the events that took place:

The U.S. Supreme Court has ruled that burning the flag is constitutionally-protected free speech. Despite that, the homeowners whose flags were burned say it's wrong, some said "disgraceful," and many hoped the people responsible would go to jail, assuming they're caught
The flags had been planted by a local Boy Scouts troop. Watch below for a report from WUSA-9 TV:
