After much debate around the blogosphere as to what a "sugar-coated Satan sandwich" might actually look like, Rep. Emanuel Cleaver finally gave the public a glimpse at the ingredients list this morning... just before complaining about the "lack of civility" in Congress these days. Go figure.

Speaking of that "lack of civility," former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin has taken issue with liberal Democrats' demonizing of tea partiers as "terrorists" for opposing President Obama's debt deal. During an appearance on Fox News Tuesday night, Palin dispelled that characterization, noting that if tea partiers were actually terrorists like... oh, I don't know -- Bill Ayers? -- they'd have a much friendlier relationship with the president.

Similarly, syndicated columnist Charles Krauthammer also had some choice words he used to describe the tea party's antagonists, pointing out that those who resort to name-calling are usually intellectually inferior and lost their case a long time ago:
