"you're truly setting an example for me for the future"
New audio has reportedly surfaced of Trayvon Martin shooter George Zimmerman.
The recording apparently features Zimmerman leaving a voicemail message for one of his most vocal supporters, Frank Taaffe, about a month after the shooting.
"Hey Mr. Taaffe," the message says. "This is George... I wanted to thank you for doing everything you've been doing. Um, I know you don't have to, and I appreciate it, and you're truly setting an example for me for the future of, uh, doing the right thing even when it's tough, and, uh, I appreciate it. I'll talk to you soon. Thanks."
So who is Frank Taaffe? According to reports he's a neighbor in the Florida gated community where the shooting occurred. The Grio posted some video of him defending Zimmerman:
The Grio says Taaffe is the one who has identified the caller as Zimmerman.
