Media Research Center uses embarrassing Katie Couric photo at gala

The Media Research Center celebrated it's 25th anniversary in Washington, D.C., by naming the recipients of its tongue-in-cheek DisHonors awards. Katie Couric was named the "Worst Reporter in the History of Man" by the conservative media watchdog.

Of course, Couric wasn't there to receive the "dishonor." But here's the image of her that displayed on the jumbo screens at the event:

The photo MRC used is from a series of private photos that made there way onto the Internet in 2009. It was reportedly taken at a party in 2006 celebrating Couric's promotion as anchor of CBS's Evening News.
