Republican Pollster Dick Morris is following Sarah Palin out the door at Fox News.
“His contract is up and we will not be renewing it, ” a spokesperson for the news network confirmed today. A perpetual presence during last year’s Presidential election, Morris has not been seen on FNC since November 12.
Morris' credibility took a big hit after the general election, which he had said would be a landslide for Mitt Romney. It turned out President Obama won reelection handily. Morris later said on Fox that he had predicted the Romney victory right up to election night because "I felt it was my duty" to rally voters that were "not optimistic."
The liberal Media Matters watchdog reported yesterday that Morris had not been seen on the channel since Nov. 12.
Fox announced in late January that it would not be renewing Palin's contract.
