While filming for an upcoming show in the northern part of Syria, a BBC news crew reportedly captured the aftermath of a "fresh horrific incident." Though the timing of the attack is unclear, an incendiary bomb was reportedly dropped on to a school playground, leaving some dead and many children with "napalm-like burns over their bodies."
The incendiary bomb attack left victims looking "liked the walking dead," BBC reported. More than ten pupils were killed in and many others injured in the attack.
Witnesses reported seeing a fighter jet dropping the incendiary bomb, which was followed by a small explosion and columns of fire and smoke.
"This was the most horrific thing. We've seen images on TV, we've heard many stories but we've never seen anything like this before. The worst thing in life is watching someone die right in front of you and you can't do anything," an eyewitness told BBC. "There were dead people, people burning and people running away…it's not safe anywhere."
