The Moment a Woman Catches Fire While Attempting to Film Herself Doing a Provocative Miley Cyrus-Style Dance!

Was it staged, though?

When Miley Cyrus pulled off a raunchy routine at the MTV VMA's last month, she introduced a larger section of the country and world to "twerking," a provocative dance involving shaking one's bottom. After the blowback over the routine, Cyrus didn't seem to learn why the dance can be a problem. Neither did the young woman in the video below, it seems.

In it, a young woman -- with what appears to be a bottle of alcohol, a shot glass, and candles on a nearby table -- attempts to make a "sexy twerk video" for her boyfriend. But things go horribly wrong when she stands on her head while leaning against the door, only to have her roommate come home at that very moment. It ends with her crashing through the table and on fire:

Here's how the video turned out:

"I tried making a sexy twerk video for my boyfriend and things got a little too hot," the video's description says. It was published on September 3 under the name Caitlin Heller and the account has no other videos.

Still, there are people claiming the accident was staged. And it does seem curious that the video cuts out right as the woman is desperately trying to put out the fire.

"Even if this is fake, it’s pretty funny," the website the Honesty Hour says. "I just hope her legs are okay."

In the age of viral videos, you just never know. If true, though, it could become exhibit B for parents wanting to thwart such actions. Cyrus will likely remain exhibit A.
