Police Draw Guns on George Zimmerman, Order Him to the Ground in Dramatic New Dashcam Footage

Responding to an alleged domestic dispute, police in Lake May, Fla., drew their weapons on George Zimmerman, ordered him to the ground and handcuffed him, new dashcam video shows.

"Get on your knees!" officers can be heard shouting in the video. Officers then handcuff him and make sure the situation is under control.

Zimmerman was briefly detained following an incident involving his estranged wife, Shellie, and her family. Police questioned Zimmerman and then released him. His wife and father-in-law have reportedly decided not to press charges.

On Monday, Police Chief Steve Bracknell said domestic violence "can’t be invoked" because Zimmerman's wife has "changed her story and says she didn’t see a firearm."
