As America prepares itself for actor Alec Baldwin's soon-to-debut weekly primetime show on MSNBC, news comes that WNYC, the radio station which produces his podcast "Here's the Thing," is planning to end the series.
A statement from the radio station read: "WNYC will wind down production of Here's the Thing with Alec Baldwin this fall.
"The podcast series will end with a much-anticipated in-depth conversation with Jerry Seinfeld... We wish Alec much success as he makes his transition to MSNBC."
Earlier in September, the Hollywood Reporter reported that Baldwin had originally planned to continue his podcast, which he started in 2011. But there was a lack of funding, despite being fairly popular on iTunes.
