Survey Says 1 in 8 Men Would Choose New iPhone Over Girlfriend — But That's Not The Most Surprising Result
September 28, 2013
One in eight men would choose a brand new iPhone over a girlfriend, according to a new survey conducted by a UK site — but, that may not be the most surprising result.
Sale Land's survey also found that three-percent of men would break up with their current love interest for the new iPhone.
"I’ve been going out with the same girl for three years but if it meant getting may hands on a new iPhone she’d be dumped instantly," one man said, according to The Telegraph. "To be honest I’m getting a bit fed up with her anyway.”

"Of course I wouldn’t leave my girlfriend for the latest Apple gadget – although I may be tempted when it comes to the new Samsung Galaxy," another reportedly said.
The survey added that about half asked said they had used a phone app to resolve an argument with their significant other.
The Telegraph did note, however, that "there have been no reports of men attempting to exchange girlfriends for iPhones."
