Mika Brzezinski to Robert Gibbs: You Look Like a 'Disturbed' Person Who May 'Touch Me Inappropriately
December 02, 2013
"Yes, look at him!"
Robert Gibbs looks like a "disturbed" person who might touch someone "inappropriately" while walking down the street. At least according to MSNBC host Mika Brzezinski.
That's what the "Morning Joe" co-host quipped on Monday morning. So what caused her to utter such a statement? Gibbs' wardrobe choice. Specifically his decision to wear an Auburn t-shirt over a white, long-sleeve one. Brzezinski just couldn't handle it.
"Oh my God that is the ugliest shirt ever," she said with a slight chuckle, which was after she said he was likely sleeping in the shirt and had his boxers on.
"Robert, Robert, you don't look good in that shirt," she added. "You look like a disturbed person who may touch me inappropriately."
"What?" Joe Scarborough exclaimed.
"Yes, look at him!" she responded.
As for Gibbs, he said there was "nothing" Brzezinski said that is even "remotely concerning" to him.
Gibbs, the former White House press secretary, is an admitted Auburn fanatic and said he and his 10-year-old son were at the game that is being called one for the ages. With one second on the clock and the game tied, Auburn player Chris Davis ran a failed Alabama field goal back from over 100 yards out to win the game.
