Cooking Show Prank Quickly Devolves Into Kitchen Chase, Insults and Hair-Pulling

“Little girl, I swear...I am going to pull off your hair.”

A prank planned on an Egyptian television show intended for some laughs led to a physical altercation caught on camera between two women. The fight began with an exchange of insults, then a goose chase around the kitchen island set and finally the guest pulling the hair of the host and knocking her to the ground.

Al Arabiya reported Sunday that Egyptian television personality Noha Abdeen was hit by a guest cook “after a seemingly harmless prank got out of control.”

The prank revolved around Abdeen secretly putting vinegar in her guest’s dish. Abdeen quickly denied having done so after the guest chef revealed the addition.

“Do not accuse me of something I did not do,” Abdeen said according to a translation posted on YouTube.

“Little girl, I swear to god I am going to pull off your hair,” the guest cook said. “You are obnoxious.”

After chasing her around the kitchen island and threatening to throw food at her, the guest tried to take down host Noha Abdeen (Screenshot: YouTube)

According to Al Arabiya, one Ahmed Mohssen was given the role “to add fuel to the fire.” Mohssen could be heard egging on the guest, saying “go ahead, [and pull Abdeen’s hair] no one will stop you.” He also encouraged her to throw a plate of food at Abdeen.

Finally, the show’s crew had to enter the fray to separate the women.
