Chris Christie to teenage ping pong opponent: 'There could be ramifications to this
January 28, 2014
During a stop Monday at a newly renovated Boys and Girls Club in New Jersey, Gov. Chris Christie played a round of ping pong with 13-year-old Ivan Fradkin, according to the New Jersey Star-Ledger.
At the start of the game, Fradkin is clearly one-upping a suit-wearing Christie. In the spirit of the competition, Christie is heard telling Fradkin, "You're kicking my butt, man. There could be ramifications to this."
Obviously Christie said it in jest. But what good timing to humorously threaten a kid.
Once the two started keeping score, Christie won 2 to 1. "That's it, brother," he said before shaking Fradkin's hand.
