His Muscles Are Among the Largest In the World, But They Aren't a Result of Weight Lifting or Plastic Surgery

"If my arm bursts, then I will go to the doctor and get an operation."

This 43-year-old has 29-inch biceps — but he didn't get them from pumping iron at the gym.

Instead, Arlindo "The Mountain" de Souza has grown a pair of the largest arms in the world by injecting a cocktail of mineral oil and alcohol into his arms, Barcroft TV reported.

Yet, while de Souza's arms might certainly look large, they aren't necessarily stronger than the average man's. Further, doctors say the cocktail he is injecting can result in abscesses in the muscle tissue which can lead to amputations or even death.

"If I get ill, I don't know," de Souza told Barcroft TV. "If my arm bursts, then I will go to the doctor and get an operation."

The 43-year-old said he initially started taking the cocktail after a man offered it to him in the gym.

"The guy gave it to me. He said take this, this will make you grow in days," de Souza told Barcroft TV.

Since he started taking the cocktail, the body-building enthusiast says he has become worried that he is damaging his body. As a result, de Souza has stopped injecting himself with oil — though he says he's tempted to start again.
