March 30, 2014
"I once saw my daughter kicking sand up in the air on the beach. And in the sunlight, it looked gorgeous."
Photographer Claire Droppert snapped a series of stunning images recently, capturing several sand formations in mid-air.
The pictures, part of her "Gravity" project, were inspired by her daughter and uploaded to her website.
"I once saw my daughter kicking sand up in the air on the beach. And in the sunlight, it looked gorgeous," Droppert told TheBlaze.

"In this Gravity project I want to capture earths different elements and let them stand out in their natural surroundings using moments of zero gravity, she continued. "'Sand Creatures' is the first in line."
Droppert told TheBlaze that she expects to add new photos to her "Gravity" collection soon.
