After You See This Speedboat Crash, You'll Understand Why Spectators Started Shouting 'Oh My God
August 25, 2014
"[L]ost control at high speeds due to wind interference"
A high speed crash captured on video Saturday shows a speedboat zoom past a crowd of onlookers before becoming airborne, flipping over and crashing at a Missouri racing event.
Miraculously, both of the individuals involved in the crash survived and are recovering from their injuries, Ozarks First reported. One has already been released from the hospital.
Authorities say that the crash was caused when the boat "lost control at high speeds due to wind interference" at the 2014 Lake of the Ozarks Shootout.

The speedboat was traveling at about 150 miles per hour at the time of incident, according to Ozarks First.
Video shot by a witness captured the moment the boat went airborne and crashed. Onlookers could be heard on camera cursing and shouting "oh my God."
