Watch Michelle Obama Make Key Mistake While Campaigning for an Iowa Senate Candidate
October 10, 2014
“I’ve been travelling too much."
First lady Michelle Obama repeatedly mispronounced the name of a candidate she was campaigning for in Iowa Friday.
While delivering remarks at an event for Democratic Senate candidate Bruce Braley, the first lady referred to him multiple times as "Bailey."
Obama was ultimately corrected by a member of the crowd, Fox News reported.
“I’ve been travelling too much," she said after realizing her mistake.
Yet, that wasn't the only blunder the first lady had during the campaign stop. She also referred to Braley as a Marine Corps veteran, which he is not, Fox News noted.
