Anthony Mason, the 13-year NBA veteran who helped the New York Knicks make the 1994 NBA Finals, has died, ESPN reported Saturday.
He was 48.
Fans were quick to memorialize the player online.

Mason had been diagnosed with congestive heart failure earlier this month and undergone multiple surgeries, ESPN noted.
Besides the Knicks, Mason also played with the Charlotte Hornets, Milwaukee Bucks and Miami Heat during his NBA career.
