Man Goes on Naked Rampage That News Station Can Only Describe as 'Unlike Anything We've Ever Seen Before' — and That May Be an Understatement

“When our neighbor told me the story and I didn’t believe her at first."

That's how Charlie Barnes described both the damage to his van, how it got there and what happened to Clarisa Vidrio. And that story is, quite frankly, a whopper.

Vidrio describes the scene, which unfolded at her apartment complex around 11:30 p.m Saturday in Anaheim, California.

“All of a sudden on the rear-view mirror of my vehicle, I see this naked guy just running towards my neighbor’s car, which was parked right next to me,” she told KCBS-TV.

That man, Garrett Smith, sprinted straight through the back windshield of Barnes' minivan.

But even after falling down, he wasn't down.

“Once he fell back, I was scared. I was shocked. I didn’t know what else to do so I backed up,” Vidrio added.

She backed up into her neighbor's fence as she tried to get away from hiw.

But wait, it get's crazier.

“That’s when he jumped on my vehicle," she said. "Whole body in the front of my windshield." Sow what did she do? She hit the gas pedal. “Once I turned and bumped into my neighbor’s van, that’s when I saw the guy flying off the car."

He landed on the pavement, momentarily stunned. When he got up, he was confronted by two other men. But that's when he took off running, bloodied. He was apprehended later.

“I was scared,” Vidrio explained. “I literally thought I was gonna die that day.”

Smith is currently in the hospital and expected to be charged with vandalism, resisting arrest and being under the influence, although it's unclear exactly what he was under the influence of.
