'Lots of Traumatized Young Children’ as Inflatable Slide Blows Away at Community Festival

Multiple children were injured in Scotland during a community festival after strong gusts of wind blew an inflatable slide across a park.

Several children were reportedly thrown from the slide, and others were injured as the slide careened into them. Some children suffered head and neck injuries, although none appeared to be life-threatening.

Last month, three children and one adult were injured in Florida after a waterspout catapulted an inflatable bounce house into the air.
