Duck Dynasty' Stars Reveal Their Favorite Bible Verses

"[It] carries over to a lot of things in life."

When “Duck Dynasty” stars Jase, Missy and Mia Robertson visited TheBlaze's New York City newsroom earlier this month to discuss Missy's new book “Blessed, Blessed…Blessed” and Mia's ongoing health struggles, the famed family also revealed their favorite Bible verses.

"I do have [favorite] Bible verses, but they constantly change," Jase said.

He then proceeded to share Matthew 19:26, a verse that follows a conversation that Jesus had with a rich, young ruler. The verse reads: "Jesus looked at them and said, 'With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.'"

It is this latter principle that Jase said "carries over to a lot of things in life."

As for Mia, 12, she selected Psalm 46:10, which reads, "He says, 'Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.'"

And last, but not least, was Missy, who — citing Mia's battle to cope with a bilateral cleft lip and palate — selected Romans 5:3-5, which deals with Christian suffering and perseverance.

Jase, Missy and Mia also sat down with The Church Boys podcast to discuss Mia's harrowing, more than decade-long health journey.

Missy, whose new book “Blessed, Blessed…Blessed” released earlier this month, discussed how the family has coped with Mia’s diagnosis, and detailed the tough surgeries that the brave pre-teen has undergone.
