Chilling photos released by California authorities Thursday showed for the first time the firearms used by the two San Bernardino shooters who killed 14 and injured more than a dozen the day before.
The photos showed two high-powered rifles and two handguns that were recovered at the scene of the officer-involved shooting that resulted in the deaths of the two attacker.
Another photo showed bags of ammunition and a tactical belt one of the suspects seemingly donned around the waist.
Earlier, CBS News had obtained photos that showed explosive devices found at the home of the two attackers.
One photo showed a yellow toy car that acted as an ignition device, CBS News reported, and another showed a duffel bag stuffed full of pipe bombs.
Investigators haven't released an official motive, but say terrorism is a possibility. Earlier, a U.S. official revealed the shooter contacted on social media extremists who were under FBI scrutiny.
