“Dogs are welcome in this hotel,” the sign says.

A San Francisco hotel has posted a sign advising their guests that they are welcome "as long as your dog can vouch for you."

The sign welcoming furry friends at Cartwright Hotel Union Square has made an impact on social media.

“Dogs are welcome in this hotel,” the sign says.

According to the sign, posted by “The Management,” man’s best friend is a much more considerate hotel guest than man himself.

“We never had a dog that smoked in bed or set fire to the blankets,” the sign says. "We never had a dog that stole our towels and played the T.V. too loud, or had a noisy fight with his traveling companion. We never had a dog that got drunk and broke up the furniture....So if your dog can vouch for you, you're welcome too."

A spokesperson for the Cartwright Hotel Union Square confirmed to TheBlaze that the sign is from their hotel.

If this was applicable everywhere, my dogs will be with me! Always!
