Prominent Rabbi: Trump a 'Much Better Candidate' for Israel Than Clinton

Prominent Rabbi Shmuley Boteach issued a ringing endorsement of Republican presumptive nominee Donald Trump, late last week, telling TheBlaze Trump is a "much better" candidate for the state of Israel than his Democrat rival, Hillary Clinton.

Once again Boteach pointed to Clinton advisors Max and Sydney Blumenthal, saying she would need to repudiate them before he could receive her support.

"Max Blumenthal is the number on Israel hater in America today," Boteach told TheBlaze. "He compares Israel to a Nazi state. That's an abomination."

Boteach went on to assail Clinton for touting her role as an "architect of the Iran deal," which he says is an existential threat to Israel's survival.

"Donald Trump has said he will repeal the deal," said Boteach. "I think its clear who stands with Israel."
