Following the 2010 murder of Arizona rancher Rob Krentz, many of his friends and relatives hoped the tragedy might finally inspire the government to secure the southern border of the United States.
Krentz was shot and killed on his property by a suspected illegal alien whose footprints investigators tracked back to the border and into Mexico.
Krentz was a well-respected and high-profile member of the ranching community, but his widow and friends say that, despite big promises of action from Washington, they haven't seen any meaningful signs that the government is serious about sealing the border and protecting them.
You can learn more about these ranchers and their fight for security by watching For the Record "Forsaken Land" on-demand here.
