It's a totally rigged system': Donald Trump reacts to FBI Director Comey's most recent letter
November 06, 2016
FBI Director James Comey announced in a letter to Congress Sunday that the FBI would not be pursuing criminal charges against Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton, despite finding potential new evidence last month.
Still, despite Comey's announcement, Republican nominee Donald Trump believes Clinton is guilty of committing crimes and that she'll ultimately face a court of law.
"You can't review 650,000 emails in eight days," Trump said during a campaign rally in Michigan, according to Politico. "You can't do it folks. Hillary Clinton is guilty."
The billionaire businessman went on to explain how adamant he is that the FBI's investigations into Clinton would eventually yield criminal charges.
"The investigations into her crimes will go on for a long, long time," he said. "The rank-and-file special agents at the FBI won't let her get away with her terrible crimes, including the deletion of her 33,000 emails after receiving a congressional subpoena."
"Right now she is being protected by a rigged system," Trump told the crowd. "It's a totally rigged system."
