Trump holds off-record meeting with execs from top five TV news networks

President-elect Donald Trump is meeting with "executives and anchors" from the top television media networks Monday, CNN reported.

Representatives from CNN, ABC News, NBC News, CBS News and Fox News all will attend the off-record meeting this afternoon at Trump Tower in New York, the network reported. MSNBC was included in the NBC invitation, the Trump campaign said, according to the report.

Former Trump campaign manager Kellyanne Conway reportedly arranged the 1 p.m. meeting.

The summit comes at a time when many in media are concerned about press access to the incoming administration, based on statements Trump has made about the "dishonest" media and a "rigged" mainstream journalism system that has skewed its coverage in favor of his political enemies.
