Watch: Texas cowboys ride horses through Walmart, security left dumbfounded

Three men described by media sources as “cowboys” rode into a Walmart in Texas, where security guards reportedly did nothing more than stare in shock.

Woody Fields and two others rode into the store, located in Houston, on Sunday, videotaping themselves as they trotted past dozens of confused-looking shoppers.

The video was quickly picked up by KMPH-TV, which aired it on its television news program, helping the video go viral. It has now been viewed more than 4 million times.

Fox News reported Walmart issued a statement condemning the cowboys’ actions, which, not surprisingly, are against the store’s policy.

“We in no way condone yesterday’s reckless stunt inside our store and are thankful no one was hurt by these actions,” Walmart’s statement said.

Fox News also reported the ride was condemned by the Houston Humane Society, which called the act “incredibly irresponsible.”

“At minimum, riding a horse inside a store is incredibly irresponsible,” the Houston Humane Society said. “This would be extremely stressful on any horse.”
