President Donald Trump ignited controversy on social media Sunday after he retweeted a short gif video of him hitting a golf ball that knocks down Hillary Clinton.

The outrage

In response to Trump's retweet, social media users lit into him. Some people said Trump was advocating violence — and that he was hypocritically doing so — while others said he is just a loser who appears unable to move on from Clinton.
