Knife-wielding man forces his way into pregnant woman's home. But she refuses to become a victim.
January 10, 2018
A Texas woman who's 35 weeks pregnant heard a knock at the front door of her Hood County home around 6 a.m. Monday and answered it, authorities told WFAA-TV.
And when the 25-year-old opened the door, a knife-wielding man forced his way in, KXAS-TV reported.
But the victim refused to become a victim and fought back, grabbing a flower vase and smashing it over the intruder's head, KXAS said.
With that, the family dog joined the fight, biting the intruder in the left thigh and chasing him out of the house, WFAA reported.
The woman received several superficial cuts on her arms and stomach but wasn't seriously injured, WFAA added.
The intruder was described as about 6 feet tall with a tribal tattoo on his right bicep, WFAA said.
He also was wearing a white T-shirt, cargo-style pants and a brown pillow case on his head, WFAA added.
