Michael Savage, a popular conservative radio host and best-selling author, has gone into hiding after receiving very specific death threats.
What are the details?
Savage said that he "changed location" after a restaurant that he frequents received a chilling email about him visiting the eatery.
According to the Washington Times, who obtained the email, the unnamed suspect who sent the email wrote, "I DEMAND THAT YOU REFUSE TO ALLOW MICHAEL ... IN YOUR F***ING RESTAURANT AGAIN."
"HE IS A RACIST WHITE SUPREMACIST PIECE OF S***," the all-caps email added. "DON'T WANT TO LISTEN TO ME? WELL I GUESS YOU'RE ALL GONNA F***ING DIE THEN CUZ I AM WAITING FOR THE MOTHAF***ER AND I WILL WAIT AND WATCH YOUR F***ING BUSINESS AND WHEN I SEE HIM GO IN THERE I'M GOING TO START SHOOTING EVERY BODY I CAN FIND."
"I OWN 3 GUNS AND I CAN DO SOME SERIOUS F***ING DAMAGE," the email continued.
The email added, "I WILL KILL AS MANY OF YOU RACIST-SUPPORTING/ENABLING WHITE SUPREMACISTS AS I F***ING CAN."
Savage said that he is taking the threats "very seriously."
The threatening message has also been shared with local, state, and federal officials for investigative purposes.
In a statement, Savage told the outlet that he felt this particular threat — among others that he's received in the past — deserved to be investigated.
"Over the years, I have received many threats and have chosen to ignore them," Savage said Wednesday. "However, given the violent, vile times we are living in and the specific nature of this threat, both I and some serious agencies are taking this threat very seriously."
Another portion of the message referred to Savage as a "crypto Jew."
'"PEOPLE WILL F***ING DIE," the email continued. "I'M GOING TO KILL THAT F***ING CRYPTO JEW BUT IF YOU DON'T WANT YOUR WHOLE BUSINESS TO TURN INTO A F***IN SHOOTING GALLERY AND YOUR CUSTOMERS TO GET CAUGHT UP IN THIS YOU BETTER KEEP HIM OUTTA THERE OR ELSE … YOU'RE ALL GONNA F****IN DIE UNLESS YOU DO WHAT I F***IN SAY. I'LL REALLY MAKE U F***IN FAMOUS."
Savage said that authorities have found a suspect behind the email but haven't made a formal announcement.
"[Authorities] do have a suspect, they do have a suspect they're looking at, as we speak," Savage said.
