JK Rowling buries trans activists with must-read takedown in defense of women: 'You are not kind. You are not righteous.'

Author J.K. Rowling dismantled trans ideology on Tuesday in a blistering takedown of activists who defend putting "trans-identified male sex offenders" in jails with biological women.

This week, the "Harry Potter" author has brought renewed attention to an issue near to her heart: the danger that women face when authorities put biological men who identify as transgender into prisons meant for biological women. Rowling believes such policies use women as "validation tools" and "emotional support props" for the transgender offenders.

According to Rowling, trans activists hate her advocacy for biological female prisoners because admitting that female prisoners deserve protection from biological male predators would "crumble" their entire ideology.

"Such activists can't bring themselves to concede that a man who was convicted of harming women/girls ought not to be incarcerated with the demographic to whom he is a proven danger, because if they do, all their stock arguments ... are exposed as the lies they are," she said.

Those stock arguments, Rowling explained, include defending sexual predators to bolster trans ideology, claiming trans women do not harm biological women, and arguing that making all spaces divided by biological sex (like bathrooms and locker rooms) into unisex spaces is not dangerous.

"If they admit that even a single man isn't a woman because he says he is, the entire edifice of gender identity ideology crumbles," Rowling said.

Even worse, Rowling highlighted how such trans activists are more concerned about virtue-signaling than actually protecting vulnerable people. She wrote:

I think this particular issue also causes conniptions because it threatens the activists' self image. These are people who preen themselves on their kindness and virtue, so acknowledging the truth — that they're indifferent to vulnerable women being assaulted or traumatised — threatens the idea they have of themselves. They therefore double down. The prisoners complaining aren't really afraid of rape or voyeurism or violence at all, they say.

In the end, Rowling held nothing back.

"If you support putting violent and sexually predatory men into women's prisons, you are knowingly forcing those women to live in fear of, and, in some proven cases, to suffer abuse that many of them will have endured pre-incarceration," she said.

"You are not kind. You are not righteous," Rowling declared. "Women have the basic human right not to suffer cruel and unusual punishment."

For years, Rowling has defended biological women by speaking out against trans ideology, which she believes erodes women's rights. Trans activists, in turn, have tried to cancel her, but their attempts have failed.

Instead, trans opposition has only emboldened Rowling to use her megaphone more — and to put her money where her mouth is.
