'This is absolute BS!!'
MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell announced during the coronavirus task force media briefing that he would be dedicating his resources to the fight against the spread of coronavirus, and he got mocked and ridiculed by liberals for it.
Lindell said during the Monday briefing that he is adapting his factories in order to manufacture desperately needed medical face masks. He also gave an inspirational and religious message during his statements.
"God gave us grace on November 8, 2016, to change the course we were on. God had been taken out of our schools and lives," Lindell said. "A nation had turned its back on God. I encourage you to use this time at home to get back in the Word, read our Bibles."
Despite his sacrifices to help with the pandemic, Lindell became a target for Trump critics on social media.
"Trump just called the 'My Pillow' guy up to the podium in the Rose Garden. You cannot make this stuff up," said MSNBC host Ali Velshi.
"Are you f cking kidding me, HE HAS THE MY PILLOW GUY ON TO SELL HIS GARBAGE PRODUCT DURING A PANDEMIC BRIEFING???!!!" said James O'Grady.
"No one fights a pandemic better or more scientifically than the insane mypillow guy talking bible," smirked Molly Jong-Fast.
"My Pillow is now making highly absorbent pillows so you can cry yourself to sleep after watching this press conference," joked comedian Samantha Bee.
"Apparently if you advertise on Fox News like My Pillow you get to speak at a White House press conference about a deadly virus that has killed nearly 3,000 Americans!! This is absolute BS!!" tweeted Muslim comedian Dean Obeidallah.
Lindell had previously announced that he would transition his factories to manufacture medical face masks to be shipped to hospitals across the country.
